Dominion’s advanced health screening exam: The Living Well Executive Health Examination™
With the fast-paced environment in which we live and work today it is easy to overlook personal health until a medical crisis arises. The Living Well Executive Health Examination™ (LWEHE) is a comprehensive health screening program designed to assist individuals invest in their most valuable asset – their health. Emphasizing early disease detection and prevention, the Living Well Executive Health Examination™ combines clinical expertise with state-of-the-art technology to best assess an individual’s health.
The Living Well Executive Health Examination™ is designed to assist in the detection of cardiovascular diseases; cancer (e.g. colorectal, breast, prostate & lung cancers); kidney, liver and thyroid disorders; diabetes; cholesterol irregularities; hearing and vision problems; anemia and more – hopefully before these conditions become life threatening.
Upon completion of the Living Well Executive Health Examination™ we prepare a detailed, written summary with recommendations that will be delivered directly to you. All reports, findings and recommendations are kept on file, making annual visits more meaningful as we are able to track progress and build on past success, or if needed, assist you in identifying obstacles to success.
The Living Well Executive Health Examination™ is composed of three parts:
1. Laboratory Studies – to assist in the detection of cardiovascular disease; kidney, liver & thyroid disorders; as well as screen for diabetes; cholesterol and lipid irregularities; and anemia. Markers that are used to identify prostate and colorectal cancers will also be investigated.
2. Comprehensive History and Physical Examination - A detailed history and physical examination are critical for an accurate assessment of your health. Our physicians will review and discuss your personal and family medical history; your lifestyle (sleep, alcohol consumption, psychological well-being, nutrition, etc.) and your unique health concerns and questions.
3. Screening Tests - We use a variety of screening examinations to complete the assessment of your current state of health.
